SHORT DESCRIPTION

The children construct two- and three-dimensional shapes and train their communication skills and spatial thinking.

Goal

Here the children practice predicting forms that arise from the instructions. This workshop promotes spatial thinking and the children gain their first experience of how two- and three-dimensional objects can be created from instructions.

Material

  1. Printout Appendix
  2. 60 stable rods
  3. 40 Connecting pieces
  4. Comfortable underlay or tables with chairs
