Secret Simon

SHORT DESCRIPTION

Thieves want to steal important information to be transmitted from one house to another. The children are programmers and help the computer to transmit a secret. They use an encryption turntable and take on the roles of specialists who encrypt, transmit and decrypt.

Goal

The children use methods of encryption, transmission and security of data and learn that personal data is not intended for the public and must be protected. They train to anticipate results and to proceed methodically.

MATERIAL

  1. paper
  2. pens
  3. 3 A4 envelopes (marked with gear, lock, key)
  4. 1 round head clamp for the encryption turntable
  5. glue
  6. Ropes or mats or chalk (to mark houses)
