Here the children are shown a slide with animal illustrations and are to find out according to which criteria the animal parade is arranged. Each child is assigned an animal. Together in the group and under the guidance of the mentor, they will find further classification systems for sorting the children's animal parade. There is an animal guessing game to loosen things up.
In a playful way, the children explore different characteristics that distinguish the animals and what they have in common. They learn to recognize patterns in things that seem very individual at first glance and to sort them according to various categories. They search for recurring parameters and order criteria.
